About the role
We are seeking female support workers who are patient, compassionate and reliable to support a participant located in Parkville VIC.
- Independent with toileting but may require assistance with showering.
- Reduced mobility and uses a walking frame.
- Support workers must be confident assisting someone with mobility limitations.
- Manual handling experience is desirable.
- Experiences incontinence, so support workers must be comfortable providing personal care if needed.
- Due to the participant's immunocompromised status following a bone marrow transplant, strict infection control practices are essential.
- Support workers must wear a P2/N95 mask while providing support.
- 2-hour meet and greet/trial prior to having a support worker added to the team on an on going basis.
To be considered
- Be available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays
- Active night shifts Friday and Saturday
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Valid Australian driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Minimum one years experience as a support worker
