School Crossing Supervisors are beloved by their communities, for helping young ones navigate to school each morning. They are a friendly face each morning and afternoon, often dressing up for book week and other special events. By being a School Crossing Supervisor you encourage safe road usage helping children safely travel to and from school each day.
The Opportunity
As a School Crossing supervisor you will:
- Supervise the crossing at Swifts Creek P-12, ensuring it is safe to cross before allowing any person onto the crossing.
- Liaise with the school to ensure the safety of all users.
- Wear issued uniforms to ensure you're easily located and participate in ongoing training as required.
What we're looking for:
- Physcially able to stand at the crossing holding the sign for 1-1.5 hours each morning and afternoon
- Confident to liaise with all kinds of people, including children
- Provide a safe and welcoming experience for users of the school crossing
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions, hot, cold, rain, wind etc
