NDIS Support Worker Needed
We are looking for an understanding, patient, and confident NDIS Support Worker to assist a middle-aged female participant. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and able to build a strong, trusting, and professional relationship with the participant.
Important Note: The participant has specific preferences regarding support staff based on past experiences and personal comfort. We are therefore seeking someone who is confident, mature, professional, and able to provide consistent support while respecting the participant's individual preferences and boundaries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily living support
- Assist with social and community activities
- Follow care plans and report any concerns
- Maintain a safe and positive environment
- Optional: Assist with the care of pets, including dogs and fish
Requirements:
- Experience supporting NDIS participants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, understanding, and reliable
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, and relevant compliance documents
