About the role
This is an end-to-end Property Management and Leasing role. You will be responsible for managing rental properties, building strong relationships with rental providers and renters, and ensuring properties are leased, maintained and managed to a high standard.
You’ll handle day-to-day property management responsibilities while also managing the leasing process from enquiry through to tenant approval and move-in.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a residential rental portfolio
- Handling leasing enquiries
- Conducting private inspections and Saturday open for inspections
- Processing rental applications
- Preparing and managing lease agreements
- Completing ingoing, routine and final inspections
- Managing repairs and maintenance
- Liaising with rental providers, renters, trades and suppliers
- Managing arrears and following up outstanding rent
- Coordinating lease renewals and rent reviews
- Ensuring compliance with Victorian rental legislation
- Preparing documentation for VCAT when required
- Keeping accurate records in PropertyMe
- Providing excellent communication and service to clients
About you
The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised and confident dealing with people. You will enjoy variety, take ownership of your work and be comfortable managing both leasing and property management tasks.
To be considered, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year property management experience
- Experience using PropertyMe preferred
- Agents Representative Certificate or Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
- Current driver’s licence and reliable car
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Positive attitude and strong customer service focus
- Confidence conducting inspections and dealing with renters, rental providers and trades
- Willingness to conduct Saturday open for inspections when required
