Position overview
We’re looking for a highly organised communications professional to join the Change & Communications Chapter within ITS, supporting the coordination and delivery of internal communications and engagement activities for key digital initiatives across ANU.
Working as part of Information Technology Services, you’ll help ensure staff, students and internal stakeholders receive clear, timely and relevant information about the University’s digital programs and changes. This role will suit someone who is confident coordinating communications activity across multiple projects, working with stakeholders to gather and shape information, and keeping communication channels, content and timelines on track.
In this role, you’ll support the planning, coordination and delivery of communication activities across channels including web, intranet, newsletters, email and other internal platforms. You’ll work closely with project teams, change leads, subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to develop communication plans, prepare key messages and artefacts, coordinate approvals, manage publication schedules, and ensure communications are accurate, accessible and aligned with ANU’s tone of voice.
You’ll also contribute to internal engagement activities that support awareness, understanding and adoption of digital change. This may include coordinating stakeholder updates, identifying opportunities to share project stories and successes, supporting engagement programs, monitoring internal communications activity, and helping teams respond to emerging issues or communication needs.
This is a great opportunity for a strong internal communicator and coordinator who enjoys working across people, projects and channels. You’ll bring excellent writing and editing skills, sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and the ability to organise competing priorities in a busy digital transformation environment.
