Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Maintenance Administration Coordinator to join our growing Capability Lifecycle Manager (CLCM) program team. This role supports the Navy’s Minor Vessel fleet including Hydrographic Ships, Cape Class Patrol Boats and Offshore Patrol Vessels.

The Role
Raytheon Australia is proud to be the trusted capability partner of the Australian Defence Force, working together to deliver through life sustainment of the Navy’s Hydrographic Ships, Cape Class Patrol Boats and Offshore Patrol Vessels.
Working within a high-performing team, you will support maintenance operations by coordinating problem identification responses, tracking technical risk treatment activities, and ensuring effective communication between planning and engineering teams. This role is integral to maintaining operational readiness and ensuring maintenance activities are effectively coordinated.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Problem Identification Report (PIR) responses, including action tracking, stakeholder engagement, and progression through to closure

Coordinate and track Technical Risk Treatment Plan actions impacting maintenance planning, scheduling, and sequencing

Maintain maintenance reporting dashboards and databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

Liaise with maintenance planning, engineering, and external stakeholders to support maintenance coordination and follow-on actions

Support and monitor compliance of maintenance documentation with Defence, safety, and quality standards, escalating issues as required

Support audits, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives, including preparation of data and documentation

Maintain asset registers and ensure accurate and timely entry of maintenance-related data in approved systems

Monitor and report on the status of maintenance risks, actions, and outstanding tasks to support operational awareness and decision-making

Ensure maintenance coordination processes and workflows are followed in accordance with approved procedures
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Certificate III in a technical or engineering-related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Experience in a maintenance, technical administration, or support role
-
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Experience working within maintenance management or asset management systems (e.g. AMPS, Maximo)

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders in a structured environment

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
-
Understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements
-
Experience within Defence or a highly regulated environment (desirable)
