Job Description
We’re seeking an energetic and inspiring Activities Manager to lead our Activities team and create memorable experiences for guests of all ages.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the delivery of our resort activity program, including VIK Club experiences, beach activities, games, water-based activities and guest experiences. You’ll bring creativity, organisation and a strong focus on safety while supporting your team to deliver fun, engaging and seamless experiences every day.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead, coach and support the Activities team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Develop and coordinate engaging activities including VIK Club programs, beach games, crafts, trivia and resort experiences

Create memorable experiences for children, families, groups and conference guests

Collaborate with the Sales team to coordinate Tipi builds and support unique event experiences for guests and clients

Oversee daily operations including scheduling, equipment, safety and presentation standards

Maintain a strong focus on guest safety, risk management and WHS compliance

Work closely with other departments to support events, group experiences and seasonal activities

Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve the activity offering

Build a positive team culture focused on energy, creativity and genuine hospitality
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:

Proven leadership experience in hospitality, resorts, recreation, childcare, education or a similar guest-focused environment

Experience creating or delivering activities for children and families highly regarded

A natural ability to engage with people and create memorable experiences
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
-
A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for outdoor and active environments
-
Strong understanding of safety practices and guest wellbeing
-
Current Working with Children Blue Card or willingness to obtain one

First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and varied hours as required
