The Company:

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Fortnightly payroll for JLG business units including Australia and New Zealand
- Ensure timesheets are received and accounted for
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Prepare payroll reports & payslips
- Process salary & related entitlements for all staff
- Calculation of AUS Portable long service leave
- Reconciliation and payment of Payday Super
- Respond to staff enquiries relating to salary & related entitlements, leave & general conditions of employment
- Implement payroll changes, including salary increments & award increases
- Monthly payroll journals and management of year end duties
- Manage Payroll tax and Workcover lodgements and compliance
- New systems upgrades and implementation
- Integration of new business units to JLG payroll
Key Selection Criteria:
Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team.
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems HR3/ReadyTech experience desirable
- Extensive end-to-end payroll management experience, minimum 2 years managing a payroll team
- Proven experience running trans-Tasman (Australia and New Zealand) payrolls
- Understanding of Australian Modern Awards, EBAs, and complex award interpretation and the Fair Work Act
- Understanding of the NZ Holiday Act and NZ legislation
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- High levels of drive & energy
- Strong financial acumen & high levels of drive & energy
- Experience in managing complex payroll calculations
- Excellent organisational, planning, problem solving & decision-making ability
- Strong computer literacy & an eye for detail
- Ability to manage unpredictable & varying workloads
