What You'll Do
As a member of Group Customer you will be an essential member of the Group Market Insights team and be passionate about helping the business understand our customers across a variety of market data sources working collaboratively across business unit areas, collaborating on new customer projects, and always looking for efficiencies to streamline and automate processes and improve agile ways of working. You will be passionate about understanding how our customers interact with Woolworths across both Food and Everyday Needs, have a curious problem-solving mindset, and role model customer first thinking within the business. Key areas you will contribute to include:
Assist with managing relationships and deliverables to plans across external market read providers
Assist with weekly and monthly BAU deliverables across the group
Assist with standardising how customer metrics are analysed across the group and enjoy aligning metric definition calculations across data sources
Collaborate across internal customer and group teams on key projects to develop and drive efficiency of insights across the group (e.g. customer segmentations, customer data governance forums, group customer context, etc)
Enjoy developing and building new visuals and slide decks for new insights to assist with group deliveries and customer understanding
Assist with training and upskilling the group customer team as well as cross functional group business units across insights through presentations as well as various tools and platforms
Triage requests across the group for prioritisation and communicate to key stakeholders timing expectations; review of insights and recommendations prior to results being delivered
Analyse, present, and/or deliver insights as required across business units
Assist with leading agile ways of working with both key agency partners and across the wider group customer team to ensure that quarterly plans are aligned, planned against, and delivered
Ensure that analysts are working on the right things to specified timings to meet quarterly objectives
Proactively identify and suggest process improvements as well as new insights deliveries across group customer
Passionate about data governance and ensurance that data is used appropriately across the group
Ability and desire to continuously learn new skills, seeker of new challenges, adaptable to change, and enjoy sharing learnings with others
What You'll Bring
8-10+ years experience working in retail/FMCG based environment with solid understanding of market data sources (required with Nielsen or Circana experience & extensive panel methodology expertise, Shopper Intelligence a bonus)
Prior experience and collaborative management of market data agencies (Nielsen or Circana required)
Experience developing and communicating insights across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Passionate about project management and driving efficiency across ways of working
Passionate about weekly and monthly BAU reporting and an understanding of how important standard regular reporting is to the business
Passionate about report optimisation and continuous improvement
Enjoys working cross functionally with colleagues of vastly different skillsets
Enjoys training teams on how to use data and insights correctly through various tools and platforms
Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
A curious, collaborative, problem-solving strategic mindset
Ability to take complex tasks and simplify to engage and support the wider team
Customer and insight led approach
Proactive approach to work and flexibility
Proven engagement and communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated ability to support and empower teams, both direct and indirect
Ability to build and deliver appropriate training programs to up skill teams
Enjoys learning about new data sets outside of current comfort zone
Prior experience developing team member skill sets
Google Suite Experience (essential)
SQL experience (desirable)
