Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable CASUAL cleaner on Saturdays to join our team at a meat processing facility. This role involves industrial cleaning using high-pressure hoses and specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure all areas meet strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitising of processing areas, equipment, walls, floors, and drains using high-pressure hoses and appropriate chemicals.
- Remove waste, debris, and residues from machinery and work surfaces.
- Dismantle and reassemble processing equipment as required for deep cleaning.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS standards at all times.
- Complete daily cleaning checklists and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with SDS guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet cleaning schedules and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial or food processing cleaning preferred.
- Experience using high-pressure cleaning equipment preferred.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP knowledge advantageous).
- Ability to work independently and follow strict cleaning protocols.
- Physically fit and able to work in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Availability from 3:30pm Monday to Friday and from 1:30pm on Saturday.

- Can you commit to consistent attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts in Malaga?
- Do you currently hold, or are you willing to obtain, a current Police Clearance?
- Do you understand this is a casual/subcontractor work that will only fill in when current staff are on leave?
- This role is 1:30pm - 6:30pm every Saturday? However, we also require fill in weekday work when staff are on leave. Are you available from 3:30pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday?
