Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency of the Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development. The Senior Projects & Programs Officer will provide specialist leadership for the Agriculture and Animal Services Functional Area (AASFA) operational functions, with a strong focus on aviation, safety, and emergency operations.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery of complex programs and projects, overseeing planning, budgets, resources and timelines to ensure successful outcomes aligned with organisational priorities.
- Drive program implementation and performance, establishing work plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and monitoring progress against key milestones, objectives and standards.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, partnering with internal and external clients to support collaboration, engagement and successful project delivery.
- Manage strategic partnerships and contracts, leading negotiations and coordinating stakeholders to ensure services are delivered within agreed scope, budget, quality and timeframe requirements.
- Provide trusted advice to senior leaders and executives, delivering clear reporting, insights and recommendations on program performance, risks and opportunities.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams, fostering capability growth while contributing to continuous improvement of project and program management practices across the organisation
