About the role
As a Service Technician at Adelaide Dust and Fume Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for the efficient installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial dust and fume Extraction systems. This is a full-time role located in Smithfield, SA 5114.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct scheduled and breakdown maintenance on a variety of systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment to identify and resolve problems
- Maintain detailed service records and provide updates on work progress
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on the optimal performance of their systems
- Out on the road representing our business to the customers
- Assist the install team as required with the installation of dust collectors and all associated ducting, fans and fume extraction etc.
What we're looking for
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
- Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial or industrial dust and fume systems
- A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience working with dust and fume extraction systems or HVAC systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (work vehicle will be supplied for on the road jobs)
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to use basic hand tools is essential
Pay: $36.00 – $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week
