Set Up Camp is the Queensland Caravan Dealer for the Australian made brand, Hilltop Caravans. Our Brisbane showroom at Underwood has a wide range of caravans on display. We’re looking for someone who is reliable and friendly to join our team as a Casual Sales Assistant, working Saturdays in our showroom (8am to 2/3pm).
There is the potential for this role to expand to include working at some Caravan Expos (Friday, Saturday and / or Sunday), or additional work in the showroom Monday to Friday to assist when staff are on leave / attending expos.
This role is ideal for someone who loves caravanning, enjoys chatting with people, and takes pride in helping customers.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will trained to be a point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. Your focus will be on building rapport, answering questions, and assisting customers through the early stages of their Hilltop Caravan journey. You will also assist customers with the selection of their caravan colours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and engaging potential new customers in the showroom
- Talking through Hilltop features, options, and pricing
- Assisting customers to select colours and configurations for their Hilltop order
- Preparing and assisting with order quotes
- Maintaining a clean, presentable showroom environment
- Cleaning and styling caravans on display to ensure they are presentable
For applicants with towing experience, there may be additional work available assisting with expo bump-in and bump-out, where required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with customers
- Is reliable and punctual, with consistent Saturday availability
- Has strong communication and customer service skills
- Is comfortable using basic systems for quoting and order details
- Has an interest in camping, caravanning, or outdoor lifestyles
Towing or expo experience is advantageous but not required.
