We are seeking an experienced Cleaning and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to take on a vital role in managing and enhancing cleaning operations and facilities maintenance. This position involves leading a team, coordinating services, and ensuring a consistently high level of cleanliness and presentation. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact, managing contractors and maintenance activities, and implementing improvements to meet UOW Pulse's exceptional standards.
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities management, with a track record of leadership and coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning procedures, standards, and best practices, ensuring a high level of expertise.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Proficiency in using software for operational documentation, maintenance management, and contractor engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships and effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and innovations, embracing continuous improvement.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on implementing practical and effective solutions.
- Understanding of WHS obligations and a commitment to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
