We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Estimating Specialist to prepare accurate quotes for dormakaba’s automatic access entry solutions. Supporting one of our largest states in Australia, you will work closely with the National Team Lead and Commercial Service team to manage the quoting process, coordinate orders through our CRM and SAP systems, and keep customers updated on progress. This role plays an important part in delivering a smooth customer experience and supporting the success of our service operations.
What you will do
- Prepare, process, and manage approved automatic door quotes within agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with the Commercial Service team to prioritise quotes, manage urgent requests, and resolve customer queries.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to confirm quote details and expected completion timeframes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Customer Experience team to support material availability and delivery requirements for approved works.
- Maintain accurate quotation records and documentation within CRM (Salesforce).
- Ensure quotes meet Australian standards, safety requirements, accessibility guidelines, and dormakaba policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve quoting processes, templates, and workflows.Help improve customer retention, contract renewals, and overall customer satisfaction.
What we require
- Experience in estimating, construction, building design, planning, or a related trade environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple quotes and priorities.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with customers and internal teams.
- Experience using estimation software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel.
What we prefer
- Previous experience in estimating for door systems, hardware, access solutions, or similar industries.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards
