We are seeking a skilled Electrician & Open Licensed Cabler to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and structured cabling systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting commercial and industrial projects while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, test, and maintain structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling.
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in commercial and industrial environments.
- Install and commission communication outlets, patch panels, cabinets, and network equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and cabling faults.
- Test and certify cabling installations using appropriate testing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical, telecommunications, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and installation documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other technical teams to complete assigned work.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Electrical License or equivalent trade qualification.
- Open Cabling License with relevant endorsements, where required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation and structured cabling.
- Experience with copper and fiber optic cabling installations.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience using electrical testing and cable certification equipment.
Pay: $330.00 – $360.00 per day
