About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leader to lead, motivate and coach our teams across Main Floor Picking, Replenishment and Dispatch on afternoon shift at our state-of-the-art DC in Tullamarine. The hours of work for afternoon shift are 3.30pm to 11.36pm.
The primary focus of this role will be to lead the team to ensure accurate and efficient picking of all orders through to despatch ensuring the DC operates efficiently and safely at all times within agreed timeframes.
Reporting directly to the DC Shift Manager duties will include:

Provide training and support in use of the MLS-WMS system and their associated procedures to the inbound, picking, packing and replenishment teams.

Ensure all Put-away from GR is achieved within 24hrs of receipt

Ensure pick accuracy to minimise inventory loss, and achieve high customer satisfaction

Ensure that pick face replenishment is optimised and completed on a timely basis

Work with the Inventory Team to ensure that system and physical inventory differences and issues are resolved promptly to minimise delays in picking.

Support the cycle count program put in place by the Inventory Team

Manage MHE resources to assist the receiving and putaway functions to meet agreed targets in conjunction with other Teams

Accurately plan labour hours

Prepare and report day/weekly/monthly as appropriate on agreed KPI measures and analysis to ensure all targets are exceeded

Ensure aisles and pick faces are always keep clean and tidy in accordance with the expectations set by the Warehouse Management Team

Lead team to adhere to Work Health and Safety standards always and Company policies and procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have a strong Team Leading background within a fast-paced DC environment and a passion for leading and motivating teams.
You are hands on, lead by example and are committed to delivering first class service to our customers promoting safe work practices at all times.
In addition, you will have the following skills and attributes:

Knowledge of SAP EWM is highly preferable

Strong organisational and process improvement skills
-
Ability to train staff on the use of relevant warehouse management systems including SAP EWM.

Able to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure
-
Proven communication and interpersonal skills to all levels
-
Experienced in picking/replenishment/cycle counting within a large (20,000 plus pallet) warehouse/DC and managing large teams.

2 years plus experience using complex WMS, for Inbound, Outbound and Inventory processes
