St Paul’s Anglican Kindergarten is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and nurturing Educator to lead our specialised *Pre-Prep Program*. This program is designed for children completing an additional year of kindergarten, providing a purposeful bridge to Prep. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in preparing children for their next chapter by focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social emotional readiness, ensuring our curriculum aligns with the developmental expectations of local primary school Prep programs. ### Key Responsibilities * **Curriculum Delivery:** You will be assisting in delivering a high quality learning environment that targets school readiness. * **Targeted Programming:** Assissting the Teacher in setting up structured programs, such as **Milo Monkey** (or equivalent programs), to build core literacy skills in an engaging, play based environment. * **Individualised Support:** Monitor the developmental progress of children, helping tailor activities to ensure they meet their personal milestones before starting school. * **Collaborative Partnership:** Maintain strong, transparent, and supportive communication with your peers and Co-educators, providing them with insights into your ideas and what you have obsereved throughout the day. ### Selection Criteria (What we are looking for) * **Qualifications:** Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent/ACECQA recognised). * **Experience:** Demonstrated experience working in a Kindergarten environment. * **Pedagogical Knowledge:** A strong understanding of early literacy (e.g., phonemic awareness) and numeracy foundations. * **Alignment:** A passion for supporting the unique developmental needs of children transitioning from kindergarten to school. * **Communication:** Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff, children, and families. ### Why Join St Paul’s?
