As our training programs continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Trainer and Assessor – to deliver the Certificate III in Bricklaying/Block laying (CPC33020) to join our team in Port Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant training sessions.
- Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements.
- Support and mentor students throughout their learning journey.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
- Contribute to quality training outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all assessments are conducted fairly, validly, and comply with ASQA regulations.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Vocational Qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116) (or equivalent that meets current regulatory requirements).
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Bricklaying/Block laying (or equivalent).
Industry Experience: Extensive, current industry experience as a Bricklayer/Block layer.
Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of vocational education compliance, competency-based training, and ASQA standards.
Tech Skills: Confidence using Student Management Systems (SMS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and basic Microsoft Office.
Compliance Check: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills with basic computer literacy.
