About us:
The Community Child, Youth and Family is a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, social workers, psychologists, speech pathologists and indigenous health workers, SBYHN, who work in partnership with families to deliver maternal, paternal and infant health, child and youth health, and parental support.
The CCYFH Service's primary focus is:
To deliver accessible evidence based physical and psychosocial health services in partnership with children, young people and families. Working together to support the needs of families in our communities.
To offer a range of services that reflect our local indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse population, including refugee health.
To provide universal and targeted programs for families, encompassing maternal/paternal and infant health, child health, youth health, and caregiver support.
To enable children, youth and families to achieve better health outcomes by empowering our community through health promotion, health education and early intervention support.
To maintain a dynamic, proactive and responsive team by encouraging and supporting staff to pursue professional development to enhance skills and capacity; and development and trial of new programs and/or ways of working to support families.
To establish and maintain effective partnership with both government and non-government agencies to achieve optimum individual and community health and wellbeing outcomes.

About your opportunity:
Provide effective and responsive high-level psycho-social assessment and early intervention treatment services to meet the caregivers' treatment goals as determined in partnership with caregiver.
Willingness to be open and transparent with colleagues to contribute positively to team dynamic with a growth minded focus on team enhancement through constructive challenging of self and others. Contributing positively to the collective We of both the Early Intervention Parenting Service, the CCYFHS and the CHHHS.
As a Senior Clinician you are expected to contribute to clinical supervision of staff, students and new graduates as requested. Maintenance of STAP accreditation for psychology applicants is highly regarded and supervisor status with AHPRA; or willingness to attain same.
