Miwatj Health is seeking an organised and proactive Asset and Maintenance Officer - Housing to support the management, maintenance, and allocation of staff housing across East Arnhem Land. This role plays an important part in ensuring our workforce has access to safe, functional, and well-maintained accommodation, helping us deliver essential services to remote communities.

Working closely with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate housing maintenance, manage property-related matters, and contribute to a positive employee experience. This is a varied and rewarding role where your work will have a visible impact on both our workforce and the communities we serve.
About the Role
- Coordinate housing maintenance and repair requests.
- Support housing allocations, property handovers, and occupancy records.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain accurate housing and asset records.
- Assist with property inspections and insurance claims.
- Deliver professional and responsive customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in administration, housing, property, asset management, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- An understanding of, and commitment to, Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination.
- An appreciation of the opportunities and challenges of working in remote communities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card), or the ability to obtain one.
- National Police Check, or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to meet Miwatj Health vaccination and immunity screening requirements.
