We're looking for an Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public practice accountant looking to further develop their career in a professional and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns
- Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns
- Prepare journals, reconciliations and working papers
- Liaise with clients and the ATO
- Assist with tax planning and compliance matters
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines
About You
- Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major
- Completed or partially completed CA/CPA studies
- 4+ years' experience in Australian public accounting
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation and accounting principles
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks is highly regarded
- Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
Eligibility
- Australian Permanent Resident, Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or holder of an 820 Partner Visa preferred.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hawthorn VIC
