We are looking for a reliable, fast, and efficient Catering Prep Chef to join our production team and help us keep up with the high demand for our signature food and catering offerings.
The Role
This is a production-focused role with no weekend work. You won’t be dealing with the chaos of a live restaurant service line. Instead, your focus is on consistency, freshness, and precision. You will be hands-on with scratch-prep, batch cooking, and hand-making our popular deli and catering lines.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Prepping fresh vegetables for our high-volume salad selection.
- Stocking up and preparing fresh fillings for our premium sandwich line.
- Cooking, roasting, and precisely slicing meats.
- Making signature sauces and condiments from scratch.
- Rolling our popular house sausage rolls and assembling artisanal pies.
- Crumbing schnitzels and prepping other protein components.
- Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleaning standards.
Shift Patterns Available
We are looking for team members who can work Monday to Friday across either of the following rostered shifts:
- Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Afternoon/Evening Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in a catering company, production kitchen, or high-volume café/restaurant environment.
- Knife Skills: Fast, precise knife skills with a focus on consistency.
- The Production Mindset: You enjoy a structured environment, take pride in high-volume food production, and can follow recipes to the letter.
- Reliability & Availability: Punctual, energetic, and fully available for either the morning or afternoon Monday to Friday schedules.

Pay: $34.96 per hour
Work Location: In person
