We are seeking a highly experienced HR Truck Driver / Furniture Removalist to join our professional team based in Forrestfield, WA. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, handling furniture with care, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HR trucks for local and regional furniture removals.
- Load, unload, pack, and transport household and commercial furniture.
- Handle customers' belongings with care and professionalism.
- Complete pre-start vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Work closely with the removal team to ensure jobs are completed safely and on schedule.
- Follow all road rules, workplace health and safety procedures, and company policies.
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence.
- Previous, hands-on furniture removals experience is mandatory. Applicants with an HR licence only and no furniture removals experience will not be considered.
- Proven experience operating HR trucks in the furniture removals industry.
- Excellent knowledge of safe manual handling techniques.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test if required.
