We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Officer to provide IT support across our corporate office and remote operational sites. This role is responsible for supporting end users, maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, and ensuring employees have access to the technology and resources needed to perform their roles effectively. This is a Full Time Permanent role based at our office in Subiaco.
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Officer will work closely with the our 3rd party IT Managed Services Provider and Network and Communications consultant to support business technology requirements, coordinate the resolution of technical issues, and contribute to the delivery of reliable and secure IT services across the business.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, customer-focused and comfortable supporting a broad range of systems and technology solutions that enable our corporate, operational and site-based teams to work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT technical support to employees across corporate and operational sites.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Provision and support user accounts, access permissions, onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, mobile devices, printers and other end-user technology.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams and business applications.
- Assist with IT asset management, procurement, inventory control and vendor coordination.
- Assist with our Network and Communications consultant with network configuration, management and support.
- Liaise with external IT service providers, vendors and consultants to coordinate support activities and technical projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support and troubleshooting technical issues in a corporate, operational or multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience as an admin of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Entra ID, SharePoint and Teams.
- Experience with user provisioning, onboarding, offboarding and device deployment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to support users of varying technical ability.
- Experience managing IT assets, procurement processes and technology inventories.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Exposure to mining, industrial, FIFO or multi-site environments will be highly regarded.
- Understanding of network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless networks and connectivity troubleshooting will be highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to operational sites as required.
