Ag Institute Australia (AIA) is the peak industry body for agricultural and natural resource management professionals. AIA is committed to advancing the profession and the application of science and technology, for the sustainable development of agriculture and natural resource management in Australia.
The AIA Board is looking to appoint an Executive Officer with legal responsibilities under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) as well as administrative responsibilities. AIA invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced independent contractors interested in supplying executive officer services.
General description of the Executive Officer services:
- Managing and implementing the organisation’s strategic, business affairs, and operational objectives to achieve a visible and vibrant networking community.
- Acting as the Board’s point of contact to action requests, coordinate and implement communications, and proactively ensure responses meet deadlines.
- Actively building and sustaining relationships across AIA’s membership, partner organisations, and the wider extension and innovation community to strengthen visibility, and impact.
This is a fixed-term part-time position averaging 0.5FTE equivalent as a services contract; working days/hours by agreement, contracted for 2 years with the opportunity to renew.

Pay: $2,500.00 – $3,500.00 per month
