Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
Make a meaningful impact behind the scenes and help keep patient care running smoothly at Nepean Hospital. We are seeking a proactive and organised Clinical Support Officer (CSO) to provide essential administrative and transactional support to our healthcare teams across designated wards and units.
In this ward/unit-based role, you will support the day-to-day activities of Nurses, Midwives, Medical and Allied Health staff, working closely with ward clerks and communication officers to ensure efficient service delivery. The CSO provides timely and accurate administrative support under the direction of the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, contributing to established systems and processes while exercising initiative and independent judgement within defined procedures. Opportunities may exist to provide support across multiple wards, units, or areas of the health facility, depending on service needs.
