Full-Time | Executive Leadership Position
Robinvale District Health Services (RDHS) is seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director of Nursing to join our Executive Leadership Team.

As Executive Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across our Robinvale, Manangatang and Riverside campuses, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
About Robinvale District Health Services
RDHS is a Multi-Purpose Service located in North-West Victoria on the banks of the Murray River. We provide a diverse range of healthcare services across a catchment of approximately 60,000 square kilometres, including acute care, residential aged care, urgent care, renal dialysis, midwifery, allied health, community nursing and early years services.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of nursing services across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership for all nursing services across multiple campuses.
- Leading and supporting Directors of Nursing and Nurse Unit Managers to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Driving clinical governance, quality improvement and accreditation compliance.
- Promoting a culture of safety, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Leading workforce planning, recruitment, retention and staff development initiatives.
- Managing nursing budgets, workforce planning and resource allocation.
- Supporting organisational strategic planning and service development.
- Building strong relationships with medical staff, executive leaders and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory and professional standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
- Demonstrated senior nursing leadership and management experience.
- Extensive clinical experience within acute and/or aged care settings.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement and accreditation standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading organisational change and developing high-performing teams.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred, high-quality healthcare.
Desirable:
- Senior leadership experience within a rural health service.
- Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
