We’re Hiring – Diesel Motor Mechanic
Tara Forklift Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team in a permanent, full-time position.
About You:
- AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, Mechanical Trade, or an equivalent/relevant qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Proven ability to inspect, service, repair, and test forklifts and related equipment
- Confidence in using diagnostic scanning tools and service manuals
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Replace defective or worn parts
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational performance standards
- Conduct post-repair testing, including test driving where required
Salary:
$76,515 – $83,000 per annum, dependent on experience and current market rates.
