What you’ll do:
We are seeking a Sales Operations Project Analyst to join our Wholesale Sales team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the General Manager – Wholesale Sales, this role will be supporting high impact projects and initiatives in the Sales and Customer Service space, while also playing a key role in requirements gathering and mapping to help deliver successful outcomes.
Key activities include:
- Supporting the development, implementation and tracking of strategic sales and productivity initiatives
- Delivering commercial insights that support revenue growth, margin improvement and sales effectiveness
- Identifying margin leakage, pricing risks and profitability opportunities, and recommending corrective actions
- Maintaining governance and controls across customer contracts, loyalty frameworks and commercial agreements
- Developing and enhancing sales dashboards, reporting tools and CRM insights
- Producing regular sales, commercial and performance reporting for business stakeholders
Supporting sales leaders with data-driven recommendations that improve field execution and customer outcomes

If you're commercially minded, highly analytical and passionate about transforming data into business results, this role offers the opportunity to influence key decisions across a leading healthcare and retail organisation.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in sales operations, commercial finance, business analytics or pricing roles within pharmaceutical wholesaling, FMCG, retail, healthcare distribution or complex B2B environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting operational and field-based sales teams through analytics, tools, contracts and performance insights
- Strong grasp of Ai capabilities to optimise efficiencies, insights and opportunities
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interrogate large, complex datasets and translate findings into commercial insights
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability (financial modelling, Power Query, pivot tables, scenario modelling)
- Strong experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred) or equivalent enterprise platforms
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP or SAP-based wholesale systems) and CRM platforms
- Experience with contract management, pricing frameworks, rebate modelling and margin analysis in a high-volume environment
- Strong data governance mindset with attention to accuracy, control and auditability
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, margin and risk
Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics or a related discipline
