Job Description – Delivery Driver
Position: Delivery Driver (Part-Time or Casual)
Location:Frankston VIC
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to provide fast, safe and home delivery service to our customers. You will represent our takeaway Pizza store by ensuring every order is delivered accurately, on time and with excellent customer service.
When not completing deliveries, you will assist the team with general shop duties to help maintain efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders safely and promptly.
- Check orders for accuracy before leaving the store.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions when required.
- Maintain a clean, roadworthy and legally compliant vehicle.
- Follow all road rules and drive safely at all times.
- Assist with folding pizza boxes, restocking, cleaning and other shop duties between deliveries.
- Help maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Report any delivery issues or customer concerns to management.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Good knowledge of the local area or ability to use GPS navigation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous delivery experience is an advantage but not essential.
Requirements
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive or appropriate insurance (if using own vehicle).
- Clean driving record.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays 4pm to 10pm
- Australian working rights.
