Coffee Roasting Assistant Needed!
Vertue Coffee Roasters are looking for a new Roasting Assistant
We are expanding quickly and looking for the right person to grow with us.
The Position:
Everything roastery related! Learn / Upskill roasting, packing, distribution, logistics, green bean sourcing, blending, profiling, etc.
Barista shifts, the love for the cup never dies, and barista shifts are a big part of this role. The more we grow and the faster you learn, this role is intended to become more roastery oriented.
You:
The love for the cup is first and foremost. Everything from sourcing our beans, to roasting, to handing that perfectly crafted cup to our customers must have the utmost passion.
We are looking for someone who can work autonomously or as part of a team, who can learn our processes and in time refine them even further. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our business.
Love of coffee is a must
Barista experience is a must
Roasting experience is great, but not necessary
The hours:
The position is initially casual Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday with the aim to grow into a fulltime role.

Pay: $32.18 – $40.62 per hour
