About the Role
As a Production Shift Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in keeping our factory running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. You'll lead from the front-coordinating people, processes, and equipment to meet production targets while ensuring safety is always the number one priority.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production
- Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workflows to meet production demands
- Monitor and report on production output, quality, and waste reduction
- Facilitate production meetings and toolbox talks
- Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all WHS and environmental standards
- Provide first-line troubleshooting and support during production challenges
- Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, planning, and customer service teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, efficiency, cost reduction)
- Coach and develop team members through training and one-on-ones
- Lead by example to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
- Participate in emergency response planning and execution
About You
You're a proactive, people-focused leader who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and bringing out the best in others. You take pride in maintaining high safety standards and believe in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- 2+ years' experience in a production or technical manufacturing role
- Strong understanding of equipment, processes, and operations
- Experience with quality, process improvement, and safety systems
- Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and influence teams
- Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment
- A results-driven approach with a passion for continuous improvement
