Rocky Creek Abattoir Pty Ltd and associated meat retail businesses are seeking skilled workers in a range of jobs: Boners, Slicers, Knife-hands, saw hands, Slaughterers and Labourers for our Beef and small stock processing and Boning room operation at Tolga and nearby value adding facilities.
Positions are available for both Beef Processing floor and Boning room (6-7am Starts Monday-Friday) for an immediate start on a full-time. Wage will be above Award in the range of $65,835 to $73,150 per annum. Terms and conditions will follow the Meat Industry Award 2020.
Ideally candidates can display at least two years prior experience as a Slicer, Boner or Slaughterer
Job Description:
- Operating switching controls to direct carcasses to boning tables
- Cutting meat to separate meat, fat, and tissue from bones
- Washing, scraping, and trimming foreign material from meat
- Preparing meat cuts such as rumps, flanks, and shoulders
- Operating restrainers and stunning equipment
- Performing slaughter procedures, including severing jugular veins and evisceration
- Trimming and removing head meat
