Data Migration Lead - Melbourne
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to lead the end-to-end planning, design and execution of data migration activities within a major Customer Transformation Program. The role will focus on migrating customer data from legacy systems to the target Kraken platform, ensuring accuracy, readiness and successful cutover.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end data migration lifecycle, including mapping, transformation, testing, reconciliation, dry runs and production execution.

Develop migration strategies, runbooks and cutover plans.

Coordinate technical and business teams, dependencies and critical path activities.

Drive data mapping and transformation logic with Data Engineers and Business Analysts.

Lead migration readiness, remediation and release activities.

Manage risks, issues, governance and stakeholder communications.

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data migration team.
Key Skills & Experience

Strong experience in data migration, data integration or data engineering.

Proven experience delivering large-scale data migration and transformation programs.

Strong understanding of data mapping, ETL/ELT, data modelling and transformation.

Experience with APIs, integration patterns, migration tooling and reconciliation.

Strong Agile/Hybrid delivery, stakeholder and risk management skills.

Energy retail or CRM/billing platform experience, particularly Kraken, is advantageous.
