St. Georges Bakehouse is seeking a reliable and experienced Restaurant Manager to manage the daily operations of our busy bakery/café in Adelaide, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high customer service standards, managing stock and supplies, ensuring food safety compliance, and supporting the overall growth and smooth operation of the business.
The Restaurant Manager will oversee front-of-house operations, coordinate staff rosters, monitor service quality, handle customer enquiries and complaints, manage stock control and ordering, assist with budgeting and cost control, and ensure the business operates efficiently in accordance with company policies and health and safety requirements.
Key duties include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the bakery/café.
Supervising, training, and coordinating staff members.
Preparing staff rosters and allocating daily duties.
Ensuring customers receive high-quality service at all times.
Handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally.
Monitoring food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service standards.
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing wastage.
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Assisting with menu pricing, promotions, and business improvement strategies.
Monitoring sales, expenses, and operational performance.
Maintaining accurate records, reports, and supplier documentation.
Ensuring the workplace remains clean, organised, and efficient.
Supporting management with recruitment, staff performance, and training needs.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
