We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our client’s team in a cold store environment based in Clarence Gardens. This role will initially offer 3–4 shifts per week, with the potential for extra hours.
These shifts are mostly on Day shift starting at 7am and you could also pick up some afternoon shifts to cover leave. There may be the opportunity for weekend overtime.
What’s on offer:
- Approx. 3 shifts per week (potential for more)
- Afternoon shift rate: $54.75 per hour
- Day Shift is $47.61 per hour
- Potential for extra hours - across an afternoon/day shifts and even weekends once trained
- Cold store environment
- Flexibility to pick up additional hours
About the role:
- Picking and loading orders onto trucks
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Working independently to meet deadlines
What we’re looking for:
- Forklift license with proven experience
- Someone who is flexible with work times and happy to work as requested
- Physically fit and able to multitask
- Reliable, with the flexibility to commit to approx. 3 shifts per week
- Ability to problem-solve and work autonomously
