About the Role
Reporting to the Ethanol & Trading Business Manager, this role is responsible for managing and growing Wilmar’s national Industrial Ethanol and Trading Solvents portfolio.
You will manage a portfolio of key national accounts while also driving new business opportunities across industrial markets. The role is suited to a commercially driven professional who enjoys relationship management, strategic sales, and identifying growth opportunities.
This is a highly autonomous role where you will work with customers ranging from small businesses through to large multinational organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Wilmar’s key national customer accounts
- Develop and execute sales and account growth strategies
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Build strong customer relationships across multiple industries
- Maintain market intelligence on customers, competitors, and industry trends
- Support forecasting, pricing, and sales planning activities
- Manage pipeline activity and reporting through Salesforce.com
- Represent Wilmar at customer meetings and industry events
- Collaborate with logistics, operations, quality, and customer service teams to deliver strong customer outcomes
About You
Essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Science, or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior B2B sales or key account management
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation capability
- CRM experience, ideally Salesforce.com
- Current Driver Licence
Desirable
- Experience within industrial, chemical, petrochemical, oil, or commodity industries
- Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or trading environments
- SAP or ERP system knowledge
