Technical Business Analysis

Conduct analysis to determine business or system requirements and required test scenarios

Review and validate solution specifications against business requirements.

Assist product owners to define and own the value definition of stories

Understand the concepts of technology solutions including cloud and on prem, and able to act as an interface between business and technology team in translating complex technology solutions to easy to understand business functions

Strong data analysis skills and provides first level analysis and support for data related queries from both business and technology teams

Contributor in all aspects of the delivery process

Provides recommendations for process improvements

Coordinate the implementation of both planned releases as well as deployment fixes for BAU issues

Must have Experience
- 7+ years of dedicated business analysis experience using industry recognised techniques, preferably agile.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in advice, superannuation and investment services.
- Proven experience in working in large-scale transformation projects as a Technical Business Analyst.
- Previous experience with Agile or Lean based delivery methodology.
- Proficiency in Business Analysis tools such as process mapping (e.g. Visio with BPMN Notation), visual whiteboard (e.g. MIRO), Agile planning and tracking software (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
Nice to have
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends and patterns to support effective decision making.
- Industry recognised certifications in the business analysis capability (IIBA CCBA/CBAP) and/or Agility (e.g. IIBA AAC, Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe, etc.).
- Previous experience with AI tools and/or similar technology, and ability to identify technology related impacts
- Understanding of advice and industry trends in relation to the Australian Financial Planning landscape.
