We require a motivated individual, someone who displays a professional and welcoming manner who is capable of working in a fast paced, busy clinic.
Responsibilities Include:
- Scheduling consultation and surgical appointments for patients
- Patient Billings and processing claims to Medicare, DVA, Private and Workcover
- Basic triaging of emergencies
- Managing and maintaining patient records
- General Administrative duties including filing, banking, recalls etc.
- Maintenance and up-keeping of the practice
- Essential Criteria:
- Highly Organised and able to multitask
- Must have high level computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and internet skills
- A professional, caring and friendly demeanor
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Fluent in English with a professional phone manner
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist in a specialist practice highly regarded but not essential as training provided
- Knowledge of medical billing and rebates
- Experience with Medical software will be highly regarded but not essential
