We're a family-owned business specialising in Colorbond fencing, timber fencing, concrete sleeper retaining walls and composite retaining walls in the South-West Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich areas.

We're a close-knit team that looks after each other. There's plenty of friendly banter on site and we don't take ourselves too seriously. But when it comes to safety, quality and looking after our customers, however, we're all business.

About the Role
As our Head Fencer, you'll be paired with a fencing assistant and work together to deliver high-quality fencing and retaining wall projects while representing the Metafix brand.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading by example while working alongside and developing your fencing assistant
- Constructing quality fencing and retaining wall projects
- Reading construction drawings and planning each day's work
- Maintaining safety, productivity and workmanship
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Maintaining Metafix's high standards of quality and customer service
Every new Head Fencer works alongside our Senior Head Fencer during their induction to become familiar with our systems, construction methods and quality standards before being paired with a fencing assistant.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Fencing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Supervising: 1 year (Preferred)
- Excavator: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Manual Driver Licence (Required)
- White Card (Preferred)
