Disability Support Worker
Strength Focused Care is looking for an experienced and exceptional Support Worker on a FULL TIME basis to join our team , reporting to the Manager.
Strength Focused Care works with clients’ strengths to offer highly individualised support. By getting to know each client one-on-one, we can offer tailored support that addresses their needs, respects their choices, and helps then work towards achieving the things they care about. Programs are targeted at promoting, enhancing and maintaining people’s independence, health and wellbeing.

Role and Responsibility
- Provide support to a client with physical disability
- Administer medications
- Bathe and change clothing, diaper, bedding as required
- Complete overnight shifts as required
- Cleaning and other household tasks
Essential Skills and Qualifications
· Working with Children's Check
· NDIS Workers Screening Check
· Driver’s license
· At least. Certificate IV in Community Services Work is required
Desirable
· A can-do attitude, enthusiasm and great communication skills
· Strong, proven interpersonal skills and empathy will be found in the right candidate
· Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
· This role is predominantly evening work
· Experience in behaviour management preferred
· Own reliable transport

- Community Service Sector: 1 year (Required)
