Fleet Coordinator
We are seeking an organized and proactive Fleet Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day management and coordination of our company fleet. The successful candidate will ensure vehicles are maintained, compliant, available, and efficiently utilized while supporting drivers and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle deployment, battery exchanges, repositioning, collections, and routine servicing.
· Supervise and support Drivers, Ground Patrol staff, and Scooter Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operational performance.
· Monitor fleet performance against key targets, including vehicle availability, utilization, deployment efficiency, rebalancing, and service quality.
· Develop and manage shift schedules, workforce allocation, and vehicle deployment plans to meet operational requirements and licensing obligations.
· Ensure fleet activities are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and company policies.
· Conduct regular fleet inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance to keep vehicles in safe and reliable operating condition.
· Deliver staff onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching to improve team capability and maintain operational standards.
· Identify, record, and escalate operational issues, incidents, and service disruptions, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
· Maintain operational records and use data and reporting tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
· Provide hands-on operational leadership and support other locations during peak periods, new site launches, or when additional resources are required.
Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in fleet coordination, transport operations, logistics, or a similar role.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet management practices.
· Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
