ENGINEERING SUPERINTENDENT

Jamestrong Packaging is one of Australasia's leading manufacturers of metal packaging, supplying innovative packaging solutions to some of the region's most recognised food and aerosol brands.
We are seeking an Engineering Superintendent to join our Taree team to support the successful implementation of our Casting Line Project.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating engineering activities, supporting project delivery and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
About the Role
· Supporting the implementation of the Taree Casting Line Project.
· Coordinating engineering and maintenance activities throughout the project.
· Assisting with equipment installation, commissioning and start-up activities.
· Working with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
· Supporting preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
· Assisting with project scheduling, documentation and reporting.
· Monitoring project progress and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
· Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company standards, WHS requirements and engineering procedures.
About You
· A degree or trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Experience coordinating engineering or capital projects.
· Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
· The ability to work effectively with contractors, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
· Good communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
· A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
· Experience in high-speed manufacturing, food manufacturing or canning operations will be highly regarded.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
