About the Role
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys making a tangible impact.
As Senior Coordinator, Business Improvement, you’ll lead initiatives that improve how we deliver services to our community. You’ll work across the organisation to identify opportunities, drive practical improvements, and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
This role combines strategy with hands-on delivery—perfect for someone who enjoys turning ideas into real outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with leaders and teams to identify and deliver improvements
- Use data and insights to drive better decision-making and outcomes
- Strengthen capability in process improvement, analytics, and change management
- Embed frameworks, tools, and practices that support ongoing improvement
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, performance, and service excellence
About You
You’re a collaborative and pragmatic leader who thrives in complex environments and knows how to turn insights into action.
You bring strong experience in business improvement, service design, or organisational change, and you’re confident working with stakeholders at all levels—including senior leaders.
Most importantly, you’re passionate about improving services and making a difference for the community.
What You’ll Bring
- 5 years + experience leading business improvement initiatives in complex organisations
- Strong skills in process mapping and improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)
- Ability to use data and analytics to influence decisions and deliver measurable outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong project and change management capability
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in local government or the public sector is a bonus, but not essential.
Your commencing annual salary will range from $147,295.22 - $170,207.81 + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
