About the Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key leadership role in the daily operation of the venue. You will lead by example on the floor, support and develop the team, maintain exceptional service standards and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing front of house team
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, food safety and hygiene
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
- Manage customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management, stock control and cost management initiatives
- Conduct team briefings and foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for operational improvement and innovation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in the restaurant industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service excellence
- Strong operational knowledge across restaurant service, food safety and stock management
- The ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using POS systems and restaurant management software
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
