About the Role
As a Support Worker with AMPEY, you’ll be supporting NDIS participants to live more independently and confidently in their daily lives. Duties may include:
- Assisting with daily living tasks (personal care, meals, routines)
- Community access and social support
- Implementing behaviour support strategies (where applicable)
- Supporting participant goals and wellbeing
- Accurate documentation and incident reporting
- Working respectfully with participants, families, and the wider care team
Shifts may include day, afternoon, active night, and weekend work, depending on participant needs and availabilities.
Essential requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Ability to write clear and objective shift notes and incident reports
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
