Involves all aspects of Motel Reception - providing friendly, personalized customer service in responding to all accommodation enquiries. Promoting and driving the business to secure accommodation bookings, processing reservations and ensuring full and accurate data capture, assisting corporate and leisure guests (check in procedure, explaining hotel facilities, location, check out procedure), and overall ensuring smooth running of Reception duties.
Approx range of hours: 20-30 hours per week and paid Casual rate per hour.
The Ideal Candidate
Will demonstrate a passion for customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Have excellent communication skills, interpersonal and time management skills. Previous experience with booking systems, be detail orientated, high standards of personal presentation and must be computer literate. This is a requirement to be competent in the role. Must demonstrate strong work ethic, be reliable to work shifts allocated every week.
Although this is a Casual paid position, the shifts are allocated every week, so there is consistancy with work.
Previous Motel front office reception experience in this hospitality environment is required and preferred. Knowledge and experience using SiteMinder, GuestPoint would be highly regarded. Familiar with Booking.com, Expedia and Booking.Button systems.
Candidates will not be required to work any Public Holidays.
