Core Veterinary Nurses to join our growing Emergency & Critical Care team.

About Perth Vet Emergency (PVE)
Since 2009, Perth Vet Emergency has provided trusted emergency and critical care services to pets and their families across Western Australia.
As we move into our newly renovated Osborne Park facility, we're creating a modern hospital where collaboration, clinical excellence and team wellbeing come first.
You'll work alongside veterinarians and nurses who genuinely enjoy teaching, supporting one another and creating positive outcomes for patients and clients.
The Role
As a Core Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality emergency and critical care while continuing to build your clinical knowledge and skills.
Your day may include:
- Assisting with triage and patient admissions
- Monitoring hospitalised and critical patients
- Performing pathology, catheter placement and nursing treatments
- Supporting emergency procedures and diagnostics
- Assisting with surgery preparation and anaesthesia monitoring
- Providing compassionate care to patients and support to their families
- Working closely with veterinarians and senior nurses to deliver the best possible patient outcomes
You'll be part of a workplace where nurses have a voice, clinical input is valued, and teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
- Has previous veterinary nursing experience in GP, ECC or referral practice
- Possesses strong nursing fundamentals and patient care skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is eager to learn and grow within emergency and critical care nursing
Previous ECC experience, RECOVER certification, anaesthesia experience or emergency-focused CPD will be highly regarded but are not essential.
