Working alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive multidisciplinary environment, you'll provide assessment and intervention for children across a broad range of inpatient and outpatient settings, with a particular focus on orthopaedic and surgical care. Whether you're an early career Occupational Therapist or looking to further develop your paediatric skills, you'll be supported every step of the way.
About the role:
As an Occupational Therapist (Level 1-2), you'll deliver high-quality, family-centred care to children across a variety of clinical areas. Your work will include assessing and treating both inpatients and outpatients, collaborating closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
No two days are the same, offering the opportunity to build experience across a diverse paediatric caseload while developing your clinical skills in a highly respected children's hospital.

The Occupational Therapy Department at John Hunter Children's Hospital provides services across a wide range of specialist paediatric areas, including:
- General medical and surgical wards
- Orthopaedics
- Oncology
- Adolescent services
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary specialty services
